It was established in the year 2010 (first issue Jan-June 2010). The Journal was initially recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan in “Z” Category vide Notification No. DD/JOUR/SS&H/2013/432 Dated: February 20, 2013. It was then upgraded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan in "Y" <strong>Category</strong> vide Notification No. DD/JOUR/P.Islamicus/SS&H/2014/692 Dated: October 20, 2014. Now the journal has been upgraded in “X” Category by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan vide Notification No. 1(131)/Acad(SS&H)/HEC/2017/262, dated December 28, 2017.</p>
