The focus of this study was to find out environmental and socio-economic impacts of brick kilns in Peshawar. The fuel sources and their environmental impacts on the workers and in the surroundings were studied. The economic factors involved were also investigated. Black smokes and dust emitted from brick kilns were discovered to be the major pollutants and the workers found lacking any occupational safety equipment.
