Abstract

Rohri Hill is a small region famous for Mesolithic culture, located in the Northern part of the Sindh Province of Pakistan. Investigation of the Stone Age culture started here in the second half of the nineteenth century. With the passage of time new sites of Mesolithic culture were brought to light by foreigner scholars. The present paper shows the results of recent investigations carried out in Rohri Hills and Upper Thar Desert by the department of Archeology, Shah Abdul Latif University in collaboration with the University of Foscari, Itali from 1993-200, and later from 200-2005 by the same department independently.
