Abstract

In the fictional literature of Urdu, there are probably very few novels written on the subject of Palestine that are so comprehensive and full of historical references. In this novel, there is a beautiful interplay of present and the past which is running side by side. The history of Palestine comes together with the references of Quran and the Bible. The centuries old relations between Muslims and Christians and Jews are presented with great skill and artistry. On the one hand the market of savagery is in action while on the other hand protest against it is in action too and at the same time the relations of humanity and love are being maintained as if a real Palestine is with us.
