Abstract

The history of printing press in Urdu prose started in the era of British Colonialism in Subcontinent. As was the policy of the British Colonial Empire, historical facts were distorted and manipulated in a number of prosaic works. Several authors of Fort William College were the torchbearers in this regard. When the authors of post-colonial literature published their critiques of these works, many such critiques were labelled by the critics as the product the same policy of British Colonialism, which was not actually the case. One such literary work was the novel of Deputy Nazir Ahmad tilted as “TAUBA-TUN-NASUH” which is analyzed in this article.
