Abstract

According to Muhammad Hussain Azaad, Wali Dakkani is the founding father of Urdu poetry. Syed Abdullah appreciates and commemorates him as an aesthete and a stylistician. And most of the critics imitate this analysis. In the following thesis/dissertation the fore mentioned view points and an analysis of Wali's writings clarify that his poetical works reflect/ opens up broad thoughts and ideas due to the creation of Indo-Iranian combination. In the light of this analysis we can come up with this reality check/conclusion that the Indian style of composing Ghazal is is actually, Wali's artistic work. Which may be called beauty admiration, the impact of lyric or can be named as the distraction of passionate love. This is Wali's peculiar and distinguished style of perception and exposition. Before him, this was never the legend of Ghazal history. And this is what makes Wali Dakkani the pioneer of Indian mindset, sensibility, narration and style of expression
