ABSTRACT:
Invocation is the source of expression to Allah Almighty for the desires, emotions, feelings and needs. Allama Muhammad Iqbal has written /composed poetic invocations in his poetry. His pain and pangs for the Islamic Nation are revealed in his invocative poetry. He has intensively stressed on the awakening of the Islamic World in his poetical invocation. He has forwarded the invocations for the Islamic Nation so that the Muslims may bring revolution in the whole world for their magnanimous future by collecting their strength and energy whole heartedly. The attitude of a common man is reflected in his poetic invocations. There are no signs of sadness and hopelessness found anywhere in his invocations/ prayers. He has supplicated for the Muslims to be the true-lovers of the prophet Muhammad (SAW) in his poetry. His supplications are not personalized but these also reflect the obligation of religious, social and political conditions of the Islamic Nation. He has opened/paved the ways of thought and vision for us through his supplications, which by applying, we can reach our real desired destination which is the real reason behind our creation. These protect us from panic and derailment and introduce us with the new adventures and the taste of flight. There is such a wave of light behind his supplications which paves the way for the smooth path and settle the direction towards our destination, and reaching the destination, human being on its own becomes the destiny holders.
