Abstract

ABSTRACT:

The word mysticism is used for or self-purification, cognition of God and search for truth. The Sufis have divided the philosophy of Sufism into two types according to their understanding. One is the philosophy of WAHDATUL WAJOOD, everything is He and the second type is WAHDATUSH SHAHOOD everything is his reflection. Various personalities from different work of life and poets linked these philosophies on the basis of spirituality. Most of the poets belong to “DABISTAN-E- DEHLI” belong to WAHDATUL WAJOOD in Sufism. 

 

MIRZA GHALIB, who is a shining and living name of Urdu poetry and doesn’t need any introduction, His poetry also contains many types of Sufism and especially of WAHDATUL WAJOOD. The study of the thoughts of GHALIB reveals that he has a keen eye on issues of life and is fully aware of the bitter problems of it. His art is the struggle field for WAHDATUL WAJOOD and Sufism.

The point is that as great he is a poet and artist, he also hold a high position in term of the philosophy of life and philosophy of WAHDATUL WAJOOD. In this research article reflection of philosophy of WAHDATUL WAJOOD will be shown in the thoughts of GHALIB.
