Abstract

ABSTRACT:

Along with the scientific progress, translation made human mind to develop and the boundaries of human thoughts and imagination expanded. Also from linguistic point of view, translation contributes majorly in linguistic development. Translation brings forth new terminologies, vocabulary & words and broadens the horizon of a language. It nourishes a language in many ways and provides it with new terminologies and vocabulary. Science, technology, psychology, economics, history and in-depth theoretical subjects are presented through language. Translation also impacts the structure of a language and new ways for expressing emotions and feelings are developed. New idioms and adages find their way in the language and allow us to get familiar with new genres of poetry and styles of research. Various literary and theoretical translations were produced during Abbasid and Sassanid regimes and paved the way for different disciplines in Arabic and Persian. Translation enriched Arabic with multiple theoretical disciplines. Arabic became rich in terms of theory & literature and developed into an theoretical language. Even scientists like Avicenna preferred Arabic for writing their books. This study will discuss fundamentals of translation and will focus on essentials of  Urdu Persian literary Translations.
