Abstract

ABSTRACT This article analyzes short stories of Ghulam Mustafa presented in collections named Sanjhi Kandh. Stories presents rich culture of Punjab, in its current scenes and sensibilities. The style of Ghulam Mustafa is engaging, and language is kept to the possible level of simplicity, that results in fuller communications. Themes of the stories are social problems that are results of social injustice as well as norms and cultural taboos.
