Jamila Hashmi has been a prominent novelist of Urdu. Her novels have a strong feministic impact, particularly her novels Talash e Bahahara’n, Aatash e Rafta and Chehra Bachehra Roo ba Roo are overwhelmed by this literary approach. She has portrayed several impressive feminist characters like Kanwal Kumari, Kartar Kor and Quratul Ain Tahira that have tremendously conveyed the feministic view. Jamila Hashmi has clearly and cleverly conveyed her own version of feminism which is dominated by the oriental values. Thus she has successfully transformed the western feminism into Oriental feminism which is plausible and acceptable for the Oriental society. The article under study presents a feministic analysis of Jamila Hashmi’s novels. The findings and conclusion have been drawn after a systematic and thorough analysis of her all eight novels.
