Abstract

To pay homage to one-century-senior Muslim modernist of Indian subcontinent, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, Ali Shariati- Muslim modernist and social thinker from Iran- has written a fantasy letter. The letter provide a unique opportunity to identify and analyze point of attraction between Muslim modernist that surpasses the time and space limits. This brief article is an attempt to register the significance of the letter in understanding mutual intellectual bond among Muslim modernists in larger social, political, economic and religious context.
