Abstract

When the political awaking and political movement started in Faisalabad, poets also took part in these political awaking and political movements. Revolutionary and liberation movements format the basis of action. The development and promotion of Urdu reduces the dominance of Persian with the development of journalisms, knowledge and literature got a great boost. After the partition of India, for many years, Punjabi and Urdu poetry reading were organized in a grand different style at Dhobi Ghat ground. The famous literary organization of Faisalabad was Punjabi Bazm Khalaq and Punjabi Bazmadab etc which used to hold poetry readings.
