Abstract

Amjad Islam Amjad  a Pakistani was known for his roles as an Urdu Poet  screenwriter, playwright and lyricist. He highlighted social, economic and political issues through his poetry, his literary contributions would be remembered for ages. His poetry bridged the gap and brought people closer to literature.  According to Amjad Islam Amjad politics, society and literature are enter related to each other. He felt that social political issues give great impact on literature. He believes that writers and poets have keen observation power, they observe and feel the surroundings very quickly. We can feel the social and political imbalance saturation in Amjad Islam Amjad's poetry.
