Abstract

Syed Meraj Jami is one of the few writers in the modern Urdu Literature, the who began their literary activities during the second decade of the establishment of Pakistan and proved themselves to be at a commendable literary position after half a century of continuous writing. Meraj Jami’s family name is Syed Meraj Mustafa Hussain Hashmi. He was born on March 12, 1955, in Lahore. He has expressed his ideas in poetry as well as prose. “Rozan-e-Khyaal” is his first poetry collection which was published in 1992. “Meraj-e-Aqeedat” is collection of his Naats published in 2013. In this article, the researchers have given a detail description of Syed Meraj Jami’s Naatia Poetry.
