Abstract

Dr. Younus Javed has different ideology of Woman than conventional conception. Instead of presenting Woman in a conventional gender discriminatory way, he shows a Woman as a normal human being having emotions of happiness, bereavement, self-respect, jealousy, antagonism, vengeance, etc, and all other emotions. His fictive collection, “Mein aik zinda aurt hun” published in 2004, is reflecting a woman who is appearing in limelight in a way despite prevailing social discriminatory attitude, suffocation and social inequalities. Dr. Younus javed in his writing rightly presented passions of woman. His concept of woman is quite different. In short he highlighted intellectual presentation of woman besides her physical presentation.
