Abstract

Nazar Muhammad Rashid is famous for his Urdu poems .He has written beautiful Free Verses in Urdu and created new style in the poetry. He is renowned for modernism in his Poems. He faced many ups and downs in his life for his new way in the poetry. He created poems on different new topics of life. Human being is a main character of his poems. He presented Urdu poems with the psychological aspects of mankind. His poems are not only about the society but also for the thoughts of a sensible person. He introduced free verse in Urdu and used it for such topics which were not presented in Urdu poetry before Rashid. He is the founder of a new era in Urdu poetry. His poems are full of meanings .One cannot understand the complete poem after one reading because Rashid used symbolic style for it. This article concludes that Rashid depicted new colors in the style of Urdu poems which are not only attractive but also very useful to express the feelings of a poet in the form of Urdu poem.
