Abstract:

Poetry is one of the most subtle expression of human passions, feelings, expressions and wishes. Generally, two sorts of passions and feelings dominate the poetic expression in popular literature, one is ecstasy and second is sorrow. However, a third feeling of wrath, Dander, Anger, Agony, Disappointment and rivalry has found a major space in poetry. The purpose of this study is to focus on the expressions of wrath, dander and agony in the poetry of Nasir Kazmi and Muneer Niazi, especially after the formation of Pakistan. Anger and dander’s expressions in their ghazals are very common and thoughtful. They showed their sensational expressions about unappreciative aspect of mankind and they criticized on the materialistic approach of the society. The perceived pain for their nation and wrote for a common human being’s problems which he faces to live a happy life due to the lack of praise of administration. They wrote about painful poverty and they attacked on the senseless policies of our leaders. They felt restless themselves due to the migration because of losing their homes. They are unhappy because their nation is going to downfall due to the illiteracy and ignorance of their administrative. No doubt a poet is always a real well-wisher of his nation. He indicates the bad behaviours of society to prove the grace and dignity of humanity.
