Abstract

Fayyaz Zaffar is one of the leading novelists in modern fiction. His first novel "Samudar Ka Pani" has highlighted topics like politics, religion, nature and society. In the novel, along with the devastation of the nuclear attack on Hiroshima, the tragedy of East Pakistan and the country's political situation have been described. Among other problems of the society, social degradation including the curse of superstition and adultery is also presented. In this novel, the author presents his thoughts through modern style. The language of this novel is simple and easy. He has made social, political situations and social problems the subject in his novels. The story of novel seems to reflect our current society, role of martial relations in strengthening, blaming and evil deeds. Fayyaz Zafar has adopted a modern style in his novels. The themes of his novel seem to reflect the unrest in the society, the mood of the people constantly trying to change their circumstances and problem of the society. He has tried to tell that love is the foundation of the society. In the article these genres and topics have also been made a part of society.
